Know what a Bonobo is?

What is a Bonobo? Bonobos are the gentle cousin of the chimpanzee, who's motto in life is 'Make Love Not War," as they resolve all of their issues through sex, or play mounting as a means to quell problems. The Bonobo is also capable of walking upright, even while carrying the weight of their own babies.
Bonobos live in a female dominated society and spend up to four years nurturing their young, while not having other babies during this critical time of infant rearing. The Bonobo is a very special and beautiful primate that has gone from a population of 100,000 in 1990 to under 10,000 today!

To spend even a few moments reading through and learning more about these incredible primates, is to look into the best parts of our past and hopeful future, where peace and love make up the fabric of a healthy day-to-day existence. We can gain so much in our lives and our world by reaching out and making a difference where we can.
